S-Calc is a suite of tools for the engineer or surveyor allowing seamless integration between modules and interaction with AutoCad to both plot to and extract data from AutoCad drawings. Data can be read in from any comma delimited text file and all output is to similar files allowing maximum integration with other programmes and applications. We have many years experience in the construction industry and have written these programmes perform the tasks which we do every day. The sparse information supplied to site personnel has always been a factor in the mistakes that occur on site, trying to calculate co-ordinates for a road centreline while up to your knees in mud is not the easiest thing to do. Using the road module of S-Calc this task is quickly achieved, you can then calculate set out distances and bearings to the calculated points with a couple of mouse clicks.
Extract data automatically from an AutoCad drawing without having to click on every point and copy the listings, the data is written straight to file ready for set out calculations.
Reorientate grids and all associated data to a convenient format, plot points to Autocad by simply dragging a file into an Autocad drawing, calculate co-ordinates and store them straight to file for further processing. These tasks can all be performed by S-Calc.
