Our most popular product,
the complete business solution for invoicing, mobile business
management, paperless invoicing and customer and fleet management.
Brief Description.
The LinQ system brings technologies which were only previously available
to large corporations through a custom designed solution to a mass
market at an affordable price. The LinQ Server System offers true
flexibility and functionality to small to medium sized logistics
businesses, or to a business that has any process involving the delivery
and/or collection of products/services to customers.
The system operates by integrating many traditionally paper based
activities into one central system, which is accessible from anywhere,
on any device. The
system tracks progress of orders and deliveries, and can also be set to
monitor a driver’s location and how much fuel their vehicle is using.
The
System Structure.
The
LinQ Enterprise server is made up of three main components:
-
LinQ Enterprise
Server
-
The LinQ Enterprise server
holds all the key information about your company, clients and
locations, it stores all the location, stock and client
information about your vehicles and staff and then serves it to
the pocket PC's, desktop suite and website. Now integrated with
Google Earth to give you
a map of all your fleet of vehicles in real time through
Google Earth.
-
Mobile Pocket PC
Units
-
The Pocket
PC units are held predominantly by the Drivers within the
company who deliver the products/services. The handhelds
collect signatures from retail customers and provide real time
access to corporate information such as orders, stock levels and
internal communications, and also to print mobile invoices if
necessary
-
User Website
-
The user
website is the main way employees interact with the system and
is where orders are entered, viewed, edited and altered. The
website also produces productivity reports and invoices on
demand.
LinQ
System Extra Features - Optional Extras
-
GPS – This is an attachable module to our Enterprise
Server framework. This module brings tracking and vehicle location
management to the system, producing maps and constantly updating
plots of where every vehicle is and what its last delivery was. The
system also allows the tracking of vehicle usage, mileage, speed and
fuel usage.
-
Fuel Management – This module allows managers to connect
the system to their own fuel pumps at their depots. The system
monitors the amount of distance the driver covered and works out how
much fuel would have been used. The pump will then dispense the
correct amount of fuel. This irradiates the huge problem of fuel
theft that is prevalent within the industry. This system is linked
to the LinQ Enterprise server through the internet and drivers
obtain fuel by entering their driver PIN into the fuel pump.

-
QCTV Visual Monitoring - This product is designed to
eliminate theft of goods in open top lorries from building merchant
depots. The system involves mounting two cameras at the exit gate
from the depot, and the gate man having a handheld computer which
exiting drivers sign instead of the paper dockets used by most firms
currently. When the driver signs the invoice, the system takes a
snapshot of the lorry’s number plate and the contents of the
vehicle.
-
Wireless Contract – This tool allows companies to keep
track of employee’s signatures for their agreement to contracts,
such as health and safety and company policy agreements. Whereas
currently contracts are signed on paper and filed, our system allows
users to read a paper based version of the contract, then agree and
sign on a handheld computer, which then sends their acceptance and
signature to the central server where all the signatures can be
viewed.
-
Signoff – A tool allowing company’s to keep track of
employees who visit several jobs per day at different locations, and
to keep track of their productivity and when their tasks are
completed.
-
Mobile Photo Link – This tool enables photographs to be
taken with the LinQ Enterprise Mobile Handhelds which are specially
Time and Date stamped and linked with the currently logged in user,
providing proof of works done for example. Pictures are captured
using a special LinQ developed program which permanently links the
photograph with a specific date, time, user, and even GPS position.
The photograph is then sent back wirelessly with all its stamped
information to the LinQ server.
